Art

Seventh grade students have a 12 week exposure to the exploration of art concepts and the creation of their own projects.  All art students create projects that are prominently displayed throughout the school. Within each cycle, students are encouraged to use their creativity while using a large variety of supplies.

Academy Art

Academy Art is an 8th grade art course that the students need to be pre-qualified to take. This course is open to students who have shown a strong interest in art during their 7th grade art experience. Academy Art will be an all year course where students will be creating various advanced art projects such as paintings, sculptures, and drawings, but will also participate in several community related projects such as "Festival of Trees","Thank You Cards for the Veterans" and the set design for Founders' Hall Musical...just to name a few.
