Dr. Jane L. Coughenour

Jane L. Coughenour, Ed. D. was recently promoted to the position of Director of State & Federal Programs from the Director of Technology Integration and Student Support Services for the McKeesport Area School District which was her position since 2011. Her professional teaching career has always been with the McKeesport Area School District.
Dr. Coughenour has held various jobs within MASD. She was a special education teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal of Cornell Intermediate School and Principal of MASD Online Learning. As a district central administrator, she has served on many committees including: Safe Schools, Education/Legislation/Policy, and Cultural Diversity. She currently coordinates all Pennsylvania Information Management System requirements and Child Accounting responsibilities.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, Master of Science in Education and Elementary/Secondary Administration from California University of Pennsylvania, and Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility, and Doctor of Education from Duquesne University.
Her professional organizations include: Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators and Pennsylvania Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
Jane’s professional activities include presenting at the Pennsylvania Child Accounting Conference, the Title I School Wide Conference in Pittsburgh, the Federal Programs Coordinators’ Conference and teaching as an adjunct professor at Waynesburg University.
Jane and her husband, James M. Coughenour, are the proud parents of Daniel Richard Coughenour.
