Menas is the Assistant Coordinator of Special Education for the McKeesport Area School District. One of his main responsibilities is working with students, their families, and community and school teams to develop Individualized Education Programs for students who are in need of special education services. Menas graduated from the Woodland Hills School District in 1994 and received his B.S. degree majoring in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998. He received his M.S.Ed. child psychology degree (2002) and his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (2004) from Duquesne University, which certified him to begin practicing school psychology in Pennsylvania. Menas completed his school psychology internship in the McKeesport Area School District over the course of the 2003-04 school year, and he began working as a full-time school psychologist in McKeesport at the start of the 2004-05 school year. He earned his Ph.D. in school psychology from Duquesne University in August of 2015. Additionally, Menas recently became certified as a Supervisor of Pupil Services through Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
