Ms. Pamela Gordon
Coordinator of Student Services
For over two decades, I have worked in the McKeesport Area School District. My newest assignment is Coordinator Student Services. As the Coordinator of Student Services, I will be responsible for MASD On-Line Learning, Pre-K and the Community Liaisons. It has always been my pleasure to work with such dedicated staff members, awesome students and community members. Daily, I strive to do my part in helping to create a learning environment that prepares our students academically and socially.
Before coming to the Administration Building, I had the opportunity to spend several years as a building principal. I served four years as the Principal at Francis McClure Intermediate School, one year at Cornell Intermediate School as the Principal and ten years at Centennial Elementary School as the Principal. Prior to becoming a Principal, I worked as an Administrative Assistant at Cornell Intermediate and I was a classroom teacher at Francis McClure and Cornell Intermediate Schools. While serving in all of those roles I have been an instructor, a data analyzer, a mentor to students and teachers, a curriculum developer, a grant and policy writer, a hearing officer, an educator recruiter, a workshop presenter, and so much more.
I received my B.S. in Elementary Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. I received my Maters in Educational Leadership from Carlow College. I have also completed additional course work at the University of Pittsburgh and at Duquesne University.
I have always felt honored to be a part of the McKeesport School District family. It is a pleasure to work with so many people that are committed to the success of our students.
