McKeesport Area School District

The McKeesport Area School District Technology Department is responsible for the MASD data network, phone communications, and administrative and academic computing.

Mission: The mission of the Technology Department is to provide access, service, support and professional development in educational media, telephony, and technology for the entire McKeesport Area School District community. By providing a technology-rich academic environment to students, teachers and staff, we support the integration of technology into the curriculum to foster improved student academic achievement and literacy, thus fulfilling the mission of the McKeesport Area School District.

The Technology Department currently employees 4 full time Computer Technicians, a Technology Integration Specialist and our Technology Coordinator/Network Administrator.  Together, our staff supports hundreds of desktop and laptop computers, Ipads and Chromebooks.  We also provide support for a near 100 percent virtual server infrastructure and a large network of wireless access points throughout the district.
