Welcome to the McKeesport Area School District Public Relations Department!  Here at MASD, we take pride in offering many different communications outlets to keep our families and our communities well informed.  We see the need for frequent, precise and transparent communications.  McKeesport utilizes iParent telephone notification system for crisis communication and alerts.  We share our two student newspapers, The Red & Blue from the high school and the Founders’ Press from our middle school.  Additionally, our Public Relations office uses this newly redesigned website (www.mckasd.net), Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for instant and quick communication on events and a lot of activities that we have occurring.  We work in collaboration with InCommunity Magazines and the City of McKeesport to publish InMcKeesport Area Magazine, which is mailed to all of our homes quarterly. Our most recent project is now available for anyone with a smart phone or a tablet!  The McKeesport Area School District mobile communications app is live for free download in the iTunes or Google Play store!
