Federal Grants & Programs

The Federal Grants and Programs Department at McKeesport Area School District is responsible for securing, managing, and monitoring funding received through federal programs. This includes grants such as Title I, Title II, and other federally funded initiatives that support student achievement and educational equity. The department ensures that all funds are used in accordance with federal guidelines and are aligned with district goals to enhance instruction, provide additional resources, and support targeted student populations.

In addition to compliance and fiscal oversight, the department plays a key role in program implementation and evaluation. It collaborates with administrators and staff to design and support programs that address identified needs, such as academic intervention, professional development, and family engagement. The department also tracks program effectiveness, prepares required reports, and ensures that the district remains in good standing with federal requirements while maximizing the impact of available funding.
