National Geographic Social Studies: Grades 6–12 American Cultures, World Cultures, Government
National Geographic Social Studies resources support MASD students in developing historical thinking, geographic understanding, civic literacy, and global awareness through engaging texts, primary sources, maps, multimedia, and inquiry-based learning experiences. Students explore culture, history, geography, government, economics, and current global issues while building critical thinking, reading, writing, and discussion skills. Courses using National Geographic resources include American Cultures, World Cultures, and Government.
