Business Office

The Business Office at McKeesport Area School District is responsible for managing the district’s financial operations to ensure resources are used effectively and transparently. This includes developing and overseeing the annual budget, processing payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, and handling purchasing for district departments. The office works to ensure that all financial practices comply with state regulations, audit requirements, and school board policies. 

In addition to daily financial management, the Business Office plays a key role in long-term planning and fiscal stability. It monitors revenues and expenditures, prepares financial reports, and supports decision-making by providing accurate and timely financial data to administrators and the school board. The office also coordinates with other departments to align spending with district goals, helping ensure that financial resources directly support student learning and district operations.
