Senior Locker Decorating Policy

Requirements

  • In order to receive permission to decorate lockers, a responsible representative of the parent booster club must submit a written request with dates and times to the Athletic Director at least one (1) week prior to the desired dates.
  • The preferred method of communication for the written request is e-mail. If permission is granted, retain a copy of the e-mail to use as a permit to provide to security staff upon entering the building.
  • Upon entering and exiting the school, everyone must use the main entrance only.
  • All senior locker decorating must be conducted within the time frame on the request.

Rules

  • No food or drink are permitted in the locker. Prior years of school cleanliness and hallway disruptions have dictated this directive.
  • No balloons
  • Only lockers of current seniors on the team can be decorated
  • Lockers can remain decorated for a total of (14) calendar days and all items must be removed upon the expiration of this time period
  • Do not use any hot or super glue on the locker as an adhesive; only masking tape is permitted
  • Any supplies and materials used to decorate lockers must be purchased by the parents/guardians
  • The school shall not provide any materials for decorating lockers and the custodians are not permitted to open any classrooms
  • If any locker creates a disruption to the school environment, the student will be asked to remove all items before the custodial staff removes them
