Fall 2025 Physical Examination Schedule
- Football, Grades 9-12: Friday, May 30, 2025, 5:30 p.m.
- Football, Grades 7-8 and all Fall Sports: Saturday, May 31, 2025, 9:30 a.m.
- All examinations will take place at McKeesport Area High School, Room 161

Physical Examinations
The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) requires that any student-athlete who wishes to participate in an interscholastic athletic program sponsored by the McKeesport Area School District must have a Comprehensive Initial Pre-Participation Evaluation (CIPPE)-also known as a sports physical examination- prior to practicing or competing in that sport. The physical examination packet is linked above. The entire packet from pages 4-11 must be returned to a coach, athletic trainer, or the athletic office entirely completed. Please keep pages 1-3. NOTE: The doctor's examination page can not be accepted if it is dated earlier than May 1st of the outgoing school year.
Multiple Sports
If a student-athlete intends on participating in more than one sport in a school year, the consent forms for those particular sports are located in SECTION 2 of the packet must be completed when the initial physical examination is performed.
Winter/Spring Sports Participants
If a physical examination form is on file in the athletic office due to participation in a fall sport, Section 7 Re-Certification by Parent/Guardian must be completed no earlier than 6 weeks prior to the first official practice date for Winter or Spring sports. The Re-Certification by a Parent/Guardian form will be linked for access in late October.
If any questions in the supplemental health history portion of Section 7 are circled or answered "yes", the student-athlete must present an official medical release clearance signed and completed by a licensed physician of medicine prior to be given permission to participate.
