2025 Chromebook Purchase RFP - Q&A Addendum
Bid Addendum
Questions & Responses
Q1: Will you accept partial bids? (Can I bid on only Chromebooks or Cases?)
A1: No, this is an all-or-nothing bid. Partial bids will not be accepted.
Q2: Can a different brand/model of Chromebook be substituted?
A2: While the specified Dell Chromebooks will receive preferential consideration, we will accept any brand or model of Chromebook as a reasonable substitute, provided the specifications meet or exceed those outlined for the Dell 3110 in the bid specifications.
Q3: Can 45W chargers be substituted for the specified 65W chargers?
A3: We will consider reasonable substitutions for a lower wattage charger, provided it meets or exceeds the manufacturer’s default or recommended specifications for the proposed Chromebook model. However, please note that our bid evaluation includes a "Value Added" score category. Proposals that include the specified 65W charger will score higher in this category.
Q4: If awarded the bid, what is the expected delivery timeline after a purchase order (PO) is issued?
A4: The delivery timeline is negotiable with the awarded vendor. As these devices are intended for deployment at the start of the 2025-2026 school year, delivery must occur within a reasonable timeframe that allows us to enroll the devices in our Google Admin console and prepare them for distribution to classrooms.
